The goal of this website is to provide a resource to US History classes learning about WWII. The goal is to provide an overview of major conflicts, aspects, and turning points of this war that shaped the way we all look at the world.
This History Channel is a great online resource to learn about many different components of the war. It had a lot of information about the American involvement as well as information about both theaters. Something to remember about this source though is that it does not tell all sides of every story.
The American’s textbook is a great resource to have because it is just the online version of one of the textbooks we use in class. This provides a great overview on a lot of different components of American involvement in the war. Information can be found in chapter 17.
Crashcourse is a really fun resource. It does a better job with an overview than actual specifics. A great study guide, not so much a great source to gather information for projects on. This is just part one in a two part series that John Green has on WWII.
