Administrations Leader: Bryan Lockhart

bryan

My name is Bryan Lockhart, and I am in 11th grade. This is my third year in robotics, and my second year as an administrative leader. There are many aspects of robotics that I enjoy such as problem solving and working with a team to accomplish a difficult task. I think this years challenge will be a interesting one, and I look forward to accomplish the given task.

Communications Leader: Brianna Troccolo
brianna

Hello my name is Brianna Troccolo and I am a senior and communications leader on team 3737. I have been in robotics all four years of my high school career and I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. I love how our team works together and everyone can bring something different to the table, such as their personality or their skills. Outside of robotics I am the captain of the Natick High School Sailing Team and competitively race sailboats.

Outreach Leader: Joey Connors
joey

My Name is Joey Connors I am a Junior and I am the outreach leader on team 3737. I have been in robotics for 3 years, and it's been a fun and great 3 years of robotics. I love the way that we problem solve as a team and we work together to the end goal of making a robot ready for competition. I love working with computers in my spare time and I look forward to having fun this season. I also skipped Robotics for a detention on 12/3.

Tactical Leader: Sam Cohen
sam

My name is Sam Cohen, and I am in the 11th grade. I am currently the Tactical Leader this year on team 3737. This is my third year on RoboNatick, but my first year as a leader. My job as Tactical Leader is to analyze the game, develop a strategy, and than make sure that the team is always working in accordance with that strategy, adjusting it when needed. Outside of robotics, I enjoy math and physics. I am co-president (with Niko) of the school's Science Bowl Team, and an officer on the Math Team. I hope to one day become a theoretical physicist. Additionally, I am a competitive gymnast in the USA Gymnastics program, and a level 9. I love the pommel horse and rings, but to be honest, the high bar is terrifying!

Technical Leader: Erika Kjersgard
erika

I am a junior at Natick High School. This is my third year of involvement in any FIRST team and I have enjoyed the experience. My role on the team is the technical leader, as well as teaching new members how to use CAD. I not only enjoy the build, but the ability to work with friends toward a common goal. Heading towards the future, I plan on staying with the club for as long as I can, and on becoming either an electrical or aerospace engineer. In my spare time, I enjoys playing and teaching tennis, martial arts, archery, swimming, and being outdoors in the summer.

Makiah Bennett
makiah

*Fantasy Bio* After a dizzying career spent skydiving and driving motorcycles off cliffs, I learned that my true passion did not involve surfing 100 foot waves. Rather, I found that the Natick High Robotics Team was far more fun than piloting helicopters off of aircraft carriers, and that coding for the robot was far more entertaining than dodging bullets after infiltrating foreign military bases.

*Actual Bio* My name is Makiah Bennett, and I am 15 years old. I enjoy mathematics, computer science, and physics, and have enjoyed working on robots for two years now. Before this point, I spent time working with Lego Mindstorms, and created some interesting projects. I look forward to a fun and invigorating year.

Victoria Bettuelli
victoria

My name is Victoria and I am a senior at Natick High School. This is my second year at RoboNatick. I work in the Communications group working on projects like designing the poster, printed material, and other outreach things. I am also the one who designed and built this website using Dreamweaver. I also passed the Adobe Certification Exam this year and I am studying to hopefully pass the ACMT exam at the end of the year. I really enjoy robotics and hope to go into the civil engineering field.

Albert Gerovitch
albert

My name is Albert Gerovitch, I am 16 years old, and I am a junior at Natick High School. I joined RoboNatick club at the beginning of my freshman year because I enjoy working with robots. Primarily, I am a programmer, but I am also able to build. I know several programming languages, and mostly program in Java, which we use to program our robot. I am on Team 3737 this year, and really value that everyone's opinion is valued on the team. I really enjoy robotics, and hope to eventually go into a computer-related field.

Niko Kovatsis

I'm Niko Kovatsis, a Junior at NHS, and this is my second year at Robonatick. Last year I was on team 5436, but I transferred to 3737 for this year, and hope to join 6032 next year. One of the best elements of Robonatick is the camaraderie that you build, both with your teammates and the other Robonatick teams, and here at 3737 that camaraderie is supplemented by our team's productivity and friendliness. I also serve as one of the co-presidents of the NHS Science Bowl team, and am looking forward to a great season here at Robonatick.

Trevor Landurand

I am a Sophmore at Natick High School in my second year of Robo-Natick. I am interested in computer engineering and robotics engineering. I have been swimming for the Natick town swim team for 6 years and my second year as a volunteer coach. I have been a member of the Boy Scouts since I was 6 years old and an inactive member of the Order of the Arrow (Boy Scouts National Honors Society). In terms of engineering experience, I am learning civil engineering and craftsmanship concepts since I was 8 years old. I have been wiring circuits since I was 10 years old and look forward to learning Bricklaying and Plumbing concepts in the future. I started a Lego Club at Wilson Middle School that is 6 years running strong. For the past couple of years I have also been building and upgrading computers at home and been practicing various IT skills. I look forward to a great season with Team 3737 and wish the best of luck to Robo-Natick teams 5436 and 6032.

Joe Maloyan

After defeating gym leader after gym leader, pokemon league after pokemon league, to become the ultimate pokemon master, I have decided to retire from my battling habits to surf the gnarliest waves. After conquering the gnarliest waves of all time, I finally decided to relax and work on robots. My name is Joseph Maloyan, and I am in the 10th grade. I enjoy sports, spending time with family and friends, and of course math, science, and engineering. I possess of multitude of skills that will be useful to robonatick, including, strategy, mathmatical applications, and programming. This is my first year at RoboNatick.

Sean Maule
sean

My name is Sean Maule. I am 15 years old and this is my first year in RoboNatick. The reason I joined RoboNatick is because I needed to do something when I am not rocking on the piano, or spitting fire in choir. However, what was once something I did just to try it out, I have really had grown too like. I have gained new friendships and grew a love for engineering. I am a builder and driver for 3737. I like video games, music, and Ritz crackers.

Jack Schnair

I am Jack Schnair, I am in the 10th grade, and this is my first year of robotics. I decided to join robotics to pursue my passion for engineering. As a result of joining the team, I learned a lot of new engineering concepts as well as made new friendships. Aside from robotics, I enjoy playing DOTA 2, Super Smash Brothers, and chess. In addition to learning valuable engineering concepts from robotics, I have also learned that I can eat an entire slice of pizza in one bite.

Peter Waller
peter

My name is Peter Waller and I am a senior at Natick High. I have been part of RoboNatick for three years, two of which have been on Team 3737. I first joined RoboNatick because I hoped to learn skills in the engineering field. I hope to pursue a career in the field of aerospace engineering and I think that my time in RoboNatick has helped me to understand the challenges that I will face but has never discouraged me. I enjoy and take part in the physical aspects of building the robot, but hope to learn about the programming as well. Outside of robotics I take part in Natick High's Cross Country and Outdoor Track teams.

John Wheeler

Hi, my name is John Wheeler and I'm a part of team 3737 of Robonatick. It's my second year with the robotics program and my favorite part about the FIRST Tech Challenge is meeting all the wonderful and passionate people that are a part of it. I also enjoy the game itself, problem solving and thinking of inventive solutions is a big part of the program as well. I'm a junior this year and after high school I want to pursue a college degree in Biomedical Engineering. Outside of robotics, I love biking, reading a spending time with my friends.
