Charles Marso

  • Although born without a full right hand, he overcame his physical handicap to be one of the premier pitchers in the Golden age of Natick High School Baseball
  • Head Baseball Coach from 1936 to 1955
  • His Natick High School baseball teams capped three Central Mass Championships, eight Bay State Crowns and were East Mass
  • Finalists three times (played at Braves Field )
  • He enjoyed a Natick High School career teaching biology from 1936 – 1973
  • He earned a full baseball Scholarship to Boston College because of his merit from Natick High School
  • He was later inducted into the Boston College Hall of Fame.

  • Head coach for Indoor and Outdoor Track – 1959 – 1972
  • Multiple Bay State League and Greater Boston Track Championships
  • 112 wins and 24 losses in his ten + year career
  • Won 56 consecutive dual meet victories
  • Won seven Massachusetts State Titles
  • Named the Massachusetts Track Coach of the Year – 1968

  • Coached football from 1959 – 1977
  • Varsity Football Head Coach from 1974 – 1977
  • Coached first Natick High School Super Bowl Team – 1974
