This year the design project was to create a magazine cover. I chose the 100 Most Influential People in the World Time Magazine Cover to replicate for my project. I chose this cover to replicate because I thought it would be a great way to show what I had learned this year in Intro to Web. This project tested what I had learned in Photoshop and allowed me to explore and grow while using it. I enjoyed doing this project because it was a great way to demonstrate what I had learned this year.
This project was the first time I used Photoshop. I had never used Photoshop before and I was very excited to learn about it. Throughout the course of this project I learned how to use the magic wand tool, the chose color tool, and many more. The magazine design project was my favorite of the year and I hope that I will be able to do another project like it. During this project my biggest problem was matching the colors to the names. I spent a lot of time creating 100 new names and matching each one to the color that came from the original. Without the eye dropper tool I never would have been able to complete this project.
