About Me

Family

My family is very large. I have parents, step-parents, a sister, step-sisters, and a step-brother. I also have lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents all around the country. These states include California, Florida, Washington, Massachusetts, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, and Texas. Some countries include Israel, Italy, and Australia. I am very lucky to have such a large family. I love family gatherings whether it be for holidays, special events, with my dad's side of the family or with my mom's side of the family. My relatives and family try to support me in any way possible, and I love that about them. Although my family is large, I try to talk to most of them and update them on my life and what is going on in it. Both my mom's house and dad's have lots of pets, including dogs, a cat, a guinea pig, and a bearded dragon.

Interests

I have a lot of interests. One of these is sailing. I took up sailing while I was at Camp Tevya this past summer. To learn more about the camp, click here. Sailing was hard at first, but it was so much fun once I got the hang of it. I sailed with my camp friends over the summer and want to continue to sail even more at camp. I also like to watch TV, play video games, and hang out with friends during free time. I also do a program called Destination Imagination. This program promotes creative thinking in students around the world. This past year was my second year doing it, and my team was able to advance to the global finals in Knoxville, TN. The competition was so much fun and I was able to meet people from around the world, including from Poland, Mexico, and China. Sports

In my life, I have played many sports. When I was younger, I tried a season of basketball, a season of lacrosse, a few seasons of baseball, and a lot of seasons of soccer. I eventually started to swim competitively around 9 years old and have been swimming ever since. This year, I swam on the high school swim team. We went undefeated and won the Bay State League along with the Bay State Championships against all the teams in our league. This was the first time in the program's history that we have gone undefeated and also won the league championship. I also started playing volleyball for the freshman volleyball team. It was a lot of fun and I was able to meet new people while playing. This season, the varsity team was able to win the MIAA Central Championship game, and are now going for the title of Division 1 State Champions, which is very soon. Good luck to them!
