Middle school art students at Kennedy Middle School receive art in each grade for one trimester a year. 5th and 6th graders receive approximately thirty, 42-minute classes a year. 7th and 8th graders receive approximately twenty, 42-minute classes a year. Student can also gain more art experience through participating in the after school art club. 

Students are working to understand and utilize particular methods, materials, and techniques while demonstrating their knowledge of various art elements and principles of design.
